Lawrence E. Luck | of Counsel
Lawrence E. Luck is a 1976 graduate of the College of William and Mary. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1986, where he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Tax Review.
Larry has over twenty years of state and federal court litigation experience in a broad variety of cases in trial and appellate courts and has taught trial practice as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law. At the firm of Tracy McMurtrie Luck & Associates, he has concentrated his practice on contested family law, personal injury and civil litigation matters.
Complementing his litigation experience, Larry has a substantial background in alternative dispute resolution methods of settling cases out of court through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or collaborative practice.

Larry is an active member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association, the Williamsburg Bar Association, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Virginia Collaborative Professionals and has received the Martindale-Hubble “AV” rating, placing him in the top category of legal professionals for ethical standards and legal ability.
Before beginning his law career, Larry spent five years on active duty as a Naval Flight Officer in P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft. He continued in military service in the United States Naval Reserve, retiring as a captain in 2003.
